James E Heg	Børge - Here is some info about TUSKINA. She was ship rigged, 421 tons (American register). In 1842 She was in the New York - Havre trade, Captain F.W. Spencer. Quite plainly American register. In 1843, under Capt. F.W. Spencer she is in the New York - New Orleans trade. In 1845 she is back in the Ny-Europe trade, Capt. S.O. Williams. Back in 1830 she was sailing NY-Mobile under Capt. Joseph Post. Evidentally a hardy old packet and a good sailer. This info from "Queens of the Western Ocean" Carl C. Cutler 1961. However, If you would like, I can feed you bunch of ship related info about other ships on your list, paticularly the Havre, Liverpool sailings. For example, the ship I posted fron NAHA info: BENJAMIN MORGAN, was working as a Liverpool packet in that year, built 1832, ship rigged,386 USRT. HECTOR also a Havre packet, ship rigged, 557 USRT, etc, sailing for E.D. Hurlbutt & Co. This info is probably useful to you but not of general interest to the web users, except in context.
