family from Trondhjem
Be	I know my grandfather, Parelius Johanson left Norway on May 18 1881 on the steamship "Hero." I got that information from the Digital Archives. He used the name Paulius Johanson. He had a brother Kristian Gregor, born 1859, a sister Mathilda, born 1863, who was married to Kristian Lorentzen in 1882 in Guding, Vigten, Næro, and they both emigrated. I did not find them in the Digital Archives. I would like to know the date of departure, the ship, and arrival date. Thank you. Be

Have you tried to find them on the 1900 US census. That will give the year they emigrated and narrow the search. Carla
