"Book Volume no one Page 437"
Kara Ishii	Can anyone tell me which bygdebok this is that contains information Jens Edevind Markusen and his wife Marn/Maren Andrina "Maria" Jensdtr Brekke, who came from Christiana in 1870 to NY, where they were married. The 1865 census says they were living in Vestre Aker (in Akershus), and reported being from Enebach (also in Akershus). P.S. Jens was reportedly born February 15, 1847, and Marn/Maren in August 09, 1847. Is it an Akershus book? Thank you! Kara D. (Kosmatka) Ishii
Kara Ishii	Oops! I meant to say that the 1865 says JENS' PARENTS were living in Vestre Aker (in Akershus) and reported being from Enebach. The children's 1865 census listing says they were from "Aker". P.S. Jens' parents' names were Markus Christophersen (b. abt 1815) and Marie Eriksdatter (b. abt 1821). I am really trying to find information on THEM but am trying to work backwards.... Thank you. --Kara
