Irma
beejayI'm looking for the passenger list for the Ship Irma, departed Brehoven, Oct 24, 1870, docked in Galveston some 65 days later
BriningHi Could it be the ship Erna Saliling from Bremen. This Website has a searchable database. http://www.geocities.com/galveston_Bremen_project/ Also look at this site, you might find something there. http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/galveston.html Carla
beejayThanks, I had posted a correction, the Irma landed NY not Galveston. But do have ancestors that landed at Galveston, and this will be a big help with them. Also had relatives land at New Orleans, wouldn't happen to have a free site to view passenger lists for there, would you?
BriningHi Click on More Links below and try The Ships List and the Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild. If they sailed out of Norway, the Digitalarkivet is a great source. Also try a Google search using New Orleans passenger list or New Orleans emigrant list http://www.google.com/ Carla
