Matin Johansen Masters
Pearl	was b 1862 at Moster near Bergen, Norway. I believe his Norweigian Name was Moster. I know nothing of my grandfather, before he Came to USA then on to Canada. I dont know his parents names or his siblings. He arrived in Canada 1920 age 55. Is there anyone that has access to and the language fluency to search the Digitalarkivet for this family. ninakarls	According to the farm history, Vaksdal bygdebok : gards- og ęttesoge. Vol. 3 / Brita Skre. - [Vaksdal] : Vaksdal bygdeboknemnd, 1965-1987: Johannes Knuts. Mo (1831-1876) and widow Gjertrud Ivarsd. Eide (1825-1915) were married in 1858. Her first husband was Eirik Jakobs. Myster (1826-1856). In addition to the 3 boys in the census-record they had daughter Sunniva in 1869. She was married to Haldor K. Simenes (1862-1907). Son Johannes farmed at Myster and was married 1885 to Kari Knutsd. Hesjedal b. 1864-. Erik emigr. to U.S.A. Martinus m. Guri Knutsd. (Kari's sister) Hesjedal 1866- in 1894.
