ladytaureanCathy, Here are two links...the second link is the original ship manifest. This is your Harald Pedersen http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/search/passRecord.asp?FNM=HARALD&LNM=PEDERSEN&PLNM=PEDERSEN&SYR=1904&EYR=1904&RF=3&ALTS=97%7C%3Federsen&ALTS=97%7Cpadersen&HIST=FNM%3DHARALD%26LNM%3DPEDERSEN%26PLNM%3DPEDERSEN%26RF%3D88%26%7C&pID=102549050152&MID=13542778690261835200& http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/search/shipManifest.asp?MID=13542778690261835200&FNM=HARALD&LNM=PEDERSEN&PLNM=PEDERSEN&SYR=1904&EYR=1904&RF=3&ALTS=97%7C%3Federsen&ALTS=97%7Cpadersen&HIST=FNM%3DHARALD%26LNM%3DPEDERSEN%26PLNM%3DPEDERSEN%26RF%3D88%26%7C&PID=102549050152
BorgeOn the scan of the manifest it actually says S/S Aurania, which belonged to the Cunard Line. It must be an error on the Ellis Island site. Børge Solem
BriningThat is one of the "glitches" on the Ellis Island site that I have found before. It brings up the wrong manifest for the person listed . You can try using the next or previous button to page through if the date is close. In this case not even close the Auriana arrived March 3 1903 and the arrival date for the Island is July 23 1904. The text version does come up with the correct list. I just found this article that explains how to find the missing manifest. http://www.ancestry.com/library/view/news/articles/6175.asp Carla
SueHi Cathy, I went to Steve Morse's *missing manifests* at http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/eidb/mm.htm and found Harald. The mis-connected manifest for Aurania stated a July 21st 1904 arrival for that ship, frame 66. so I checked ahead on the missing manifests page, and found him on frame 351 -- http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/cgi-bin/tif2gif.exe?T=g:/T715-0478/T715-04780351.TIF&S=.5 -- (you might have to carefully copy/paste with no spaces). He is on line 24. Best of luck Sue
