joanlee59	I have been unable to find what port he left or arrived in.All I know so far, they were married in Ostre Aker in 1872, so I assume!!!!they lived near there in 1874. Thank you. Johan Olson became John Olson Lee about 5 years later. 1874 is elusive. Joan M Lee
Trond	Østre Aker That was the suburb of Kristiania. Today the hole area is Oslo. So the harbor is most likely Oslo. Trond Austheim
joanlee59	hello, yes i assumed it was olso. but in 1874 I find no Johan Olson. In 1873, I did find couple. Norwegian Emigration Center could not find Johan and Marie together either, so this makes me think he could have come alone to America in 1873, but the ages are no where near accurate. Quebec seems the best likelihood for 1973, but am really having a problem with this. can anyone steer me in the correct direction? Digital archives does not have him either. thank you Joan M Lee
