Anne Christensdatter was my maternal great-greatgrandmother who was born on Brennum Gård, Tretten/Øyer, Oppland, Norway (13 Jan 1815). Upon arriving in Chicago in August 1868, she and her husband Ole Larsen Vedum (#23), their daughter, Lisa Olsdatter (#25) setttled in the Coon Valley, Vernon County, Wisconsin area with a son (Christian Olsen Vedum) who had emigrated a year earlier. Anne died in 1885 at the age of 70.
