Elise Mortensdatter lived from February 17, 1853 to November 25, 1928. Elise lived with her parents on thier homestead claim in Brule Twonship, Dakota Territory until her marriage to John K. (Ed) Tharraldson. The couple had one child, Carl. She is buried next to her husband in Oregon City, California. She has no modern day descendants.
