Martin Gabhol lived from March 17, 1865 to March 19, 1945. He farmed the land homesteaded by his parents, Morten Pedersen Gabhol and Olia Ellingsdatter in Brule Township, Dakota Territory. He is buried in the St. Paul Church Cemetery near Elk Point, SD. He did not marry and has no descendants.
