Bottolf Bottolfson, born June 1790 Ringerike, Buskerud, Norway made his way from New York City west to Rock County, Wisconsin and continued on to Iowa and settling in Taylor Twp., Allamakee, Iowa with his wife Marthe Milla Andersdtr.; his wife died Nov 1873 and he in Dec 1877 on the farm in Taylor Twp., they are buried at Old East Paint Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Waterville, Allamakee, Iowa.
