There are no farm named Bever/Bæver in Sandsvær (Todays Kongsberg municipality).<BR>Bever still exist about one&nbsp;US&nbsp;mile north of&nbsp;Kongsberg town in Bevergrenda country side.

Arne was actually born Anund Mortensen Bever, born March 8. christened July 10. 1847 in Kongsberg church born to Morten Olsen Hugsted and Aleth Karine Olsdatter (they married july 6. 1833 in Kongsberg church, couple nr 20, from  Aas, likely Aas in Sandsvær).<BR><BR>Anunds confirmation record Oct. 12. 1862, nr 22, show him as Anund Mortensen Bæver, parents Morten Olsen Bæver and Alet Karine Olsdr.<BR><BR>Anund emigrated from Kongsberg July 1867 as Anund Mortensen Bæver, right page nr 59: <A href="http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1101&idx_id=1101&uid=ny&idx_side=-356">Arkivverket</A> <BR><BR>Confusing why he is recorded from Sandsvær on SS Argo.<BR><BR>Sources: Scanned church books and 1865 census for Kongsberg as Anun  Bæver, 3 siblings.<BR>
