Early Norwegian Settlement
The small Norwegian settlement in the vicinity of Harvard was founded by Paul Sampson (Simonsen) from Bømmelhavn. He settled there in 1869.
Churches and Congregations
By 1905, there was a Norwegian congregation in the area belonging to the Norwegian Synod.
