Forest County, Wisconsin

Norwegian Settlement

There was only one Norwegian in the vicinity of Crandon. Otherwise, there were very few Norwegians in the county, and no Norwegian congregation had been established.

Pastor Erick O. Mørstad of Elling Eielsen’s Society carried out missionary work among the Indians in the area.
