Norwegian Settlement near Banks
Norwegian settlement in Wallace County was still relatively recent by 1905. Most of the Norwegian settlers appeared to have established themselves in the vicinity of Banks, where they had also begun organizing congregations.
Churches and Congregations
The first Norwegian pastor known to have preached in Wallace County was C. Winther of Hauge’s Synod.
