1870's Immigration to New Zealand

In reply to Borge Solem's request for further information on emigration to NZ in the early 1870's of Norwegian (or Scandanavian) emigrants to New Zealand, here are some very good sources. www.paperspast.natlib.govt.nz "Papers Past" site 2 March 1872 has an article under title "Scandinavian Immigration" www.teara.govt.nz/NewZealanders/Newzealandpeoples/Scandinavians www.geocites.com/scanmanawatu/immigration I have titles and authors of books that are good reading and some detail by name and family those immigrants to the Napier and Manawatu areas of New Zealand. Hopefully this will be of help to other researchers. Sheena Boese.
