a cross the sea in 1877

hello! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to find a passenger traveling from Norway to USA in 1877? I have information that show Ole Pettersen leaving Norway in october 1877 traveling to Hull, England. Is there any records in Hull, England, where do I find online information on passengers after 1875? And so on... Please, any help is great!!
