Amble family

My grandfather's family came to the USA in about 1865 or maybe earlier. The family name is Amble. They are listed in the 1880 census in Faribault County, MN. The father is "John", mother, "Regneld" . There are 7 children 1 girl, Mary; boys, Ole, Edward, Andrew, Christian (my grandfather b. 1868), August, and Martin. I guess my question is: Is Amble a Norwegian name? I haven't found others. Just starting.( Late, I know, a cruise to Norway next month.) My mother said that they came from a farm near Oslo.
