The above-mentioned girl was born in Vestre Slidre in Oppland April 24, 1848. Her parents were Barbro Gundersdaughter and John Pederson Tuff. The baby was baptized June 1 in 1848. Her confirmation took place at the same place June 18 in 1863. In the 1865-census she is registered as an unmarried girl who was 18 years old. December 12, 1873, she was married to a guy whose name was Lars Alfson Jarstad, who then was 32 1/2 years old. He was also born in Vestre Slidre in Oppland July 8 in 1841, and was confirmed May 24, 1857. In the 1865-census he was also un-married. May 8, 1874 the married couple and their two months old son Tollef left Christiania/Oslo for Faribault in Minnesota. So what I am wondering about, is what happened to them after they left Norway. Is it possible to find something for me? Best of love, Anne [:D]
