What happend with Arthur, and are there descendents? Jo(h)n Martin Johansen Dybvig left Norway april 8. 1883 heading for Chicago. About half a year later, september 18. 1883 his soon Arthur Andreas born may 5. 1883 and his mother Isabella Dorthea Nilssen followed . She traveld together with her brother Johan (Jon) Meyer Nilssen. As far as I know Jo(h)n Martin and Isabella never married. Jo(h)n Martin married Amalie (Emilie) Simonsen some time before september 1889.
