Axel Oskar Arnesen born 1854 Fredrikshald (??)

A new member, I am looking for help please tracing my Norwegian ancestors. My grandmother Agnes Andine Arnesen was born in 1891 in Newport, South Wales to a Norwegian family. The 1891 census for England & Wales shows her parents Axel Oskar Arnesen and Emilie Arnesen (nee Jonsen ??) living in Newport, with her siblings Dagny Marie (born Norway), Anne Emilie, Peter and Laura Fredrikke (all born in Newport but births also registered in Bergen). From the Norwegian State Archives, I have a match for the marriage of Axel (born 1854) and Emilie (born 1849) on 18 May 1879 in Vestre Fredrikstad. (A correspondent in USA confirmed this is NOT the Axel Arnesen born in Grue in 1854). I also have a match for Dagny Marie born 21 July 1879, baptised 14 September 1879 also in Vestre Fredrikstad. Help please in tracing these family links back to previous generation(s) Regards David Yaw London, UK
