Bakken and Kandal names from Norway to Alberta

I am looking for any information on the family names "Bakken" and "Kandal" they both immgrated from different areas in Norway and came to Alberta Canada. Bakken is my Grandfather's name and his parents (Nils and Ingeborg (Svien) Bakken) came from Norway and ended up mostly in farming towns in Alberta. This was a farming family, they emigrated in 1905 area. Kandal is my grandmother's name (her parents Knut Olson and Nellie ( Lofthus) Kandal ) and they as well came from Norway but they travelled through Canada ( Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia) and through Minnesota and Great Falls Montana. My Grt. Grandfather Kandal was a minister so they went to areas that he could minister at. If anyone is familiar with these names or can help me please get in touch with me.
