Brakestad farm in Evanger, Voss

I am searching for descendants of Knut Olson Brakestad (1767-1825) and Anna Brynjulvsdatter Lavikhaugen (1780-1841). My great great grandmother, Brita Knutsdatter Bragestad (1831-1911) was the only child of Anna and her second husband, Knut Olson Mestad who lived on the Brakestad farm in Eksingadalen. Brita married Odd Knutson Thoe and immigrated to the US in 1872. We are planning a trip to Norway next year and plan to visit ancestral homes. I am interested in locating any descendants of this family tree and information about the current owner of the Brakestad farm. Thank you for any information. Kathy Sigdestad
