Carl Lauritz Emil Evensen

All I know about Carl is that he was born about 1859, his parents were Syver Evensen and Gurine Bergetta Gundersdotter and he may lao have had a sister Syverine Emilie Evensen. I can't find any record of him leaving Norway. I have tracked his sister Syverine to New Zealand on the 'Hovding' in 1872. Any help at all in tracing his emigration, year of travel, ships name and destination would be so appreciated. Any/all help gratefully received[:)] Carolyn
