change of names

Using the digitalarkivet, I found my grandparents names listed as saeteren, in june of 1910. Their agents name was Bennett and the ship was the Aaro out of Norway. I cannot find them arriving at ellis island. My question is would they arrive with the same name they had purchased their tickets in? Sounds strange but???
