confused about place names

I have found a family tree of ancestors in Norway but have a few questions about place names. First of all in the case of Olav Aslakson Midtbo- is Midtbo the farm that Olav would have been born on?? This is how the info is presented to me: Olav Aslakson Midtbo Born: 1875- Sollid u/ Hauge What does "Sollid u/Hauge" mean? I presume these are also place names. Can anyone make light of this situation? Also Guro Jorgensdatter Utigard born at "Utigard i Byrte i Tokke"I know Utigard is the farm and Tokke is the parish but what does Byrte mean? One more question. What does the place name "Nesland" refer to. I know Telemark is the County and Vinje is the municipality in question but I am confused as to the reference of Nesland.
