Deceased wife of Tore Toresen - Sydney, 1880

I'm searching for information about the first wife of Tore Toresen Kolstø, a ship's carpenter from Avaldsnæs, Rogaland. I have not been able to find a record of this first marriage in Norway, but when Tore married a second time, 23 October, 1898 at Haugesund, Karmøy, the record states that "his first wife died in Sydney, Australia 1880". Thanks for your help. Best, JK
