Edward Johnson/Johansen

I am looking for ANY information about my gr-gr-gr-grandfather, Edward Johnson (Johansen). My information has him born Jan 15, 1841 in Skjerstad, Norway. He immigrated to the US sometime in 1882 (according to census records). He died Feb 11, 1905 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He married Andrine Gulbrandson on Oct 15 1889 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Family stories say that he may have been married before he came to the US, but no one knows to whom. His parent's names were Johan Pedersen and Anna Jorgine Svensdatter. He is related in some way (perhaps a brother) to a Thomas Johnson, born Sept 26, 1862 in Norway. Thomas died Feb 19, 1934 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. If anyone has any information whatsoever related to anyone in this family, please contact me!
