Edward Larson and Alma Ayars

Per the Freeborn County Minnesota Census of 1910, it states, Edward Larson immigrated from Norway in 1880. He was married to Alma Ayars and had four children in America. The children born in Iowa and Minnesota. However, in an Family book of the 'Ayars' it reflects an Edward Larson in Norway, Michigan. USA. Both Edwards parents supposedly born in Norway, yet I did not get any hits, on the websites. Any feedback to the discrepancy would be useful.
