I would be very interested to receive any information in connection with the following. Ship: Norwegian barque called the Emerald. Owned by J. Hesselburg (or Hesselberg) of Laurvig. Wrecked on November 12 1879 on Aikerness Holm Westray Orkney Scotland en route from New York to Gothenburg. Captain Pedersen and all his crew survived. I am in possession of the original deck cabin which was salvaged off the wreck and used as a dwelling house for the next 123 years. Any information regarding the above would be very much appreciated.
