Emigrant Route

My great grandmother and her uncle emigrated from Sogndal, Norway to Quebec in July, 1870 aboard the ship Galathea. Even if it is simply an educated guess, I would like to know how she might have traveled from Sogndal to Bergen (How long of a trip? If more than a day, where were the likely stopovers along the way?) Also, once arriving in Quebec, what was the general emigrant route, and by what means, to Wisconsin.
