Erik Olsen - last whereabouts?

I'm trying to find the death or emmigration of: Erik Olsen We nicely know that Erik and Agnete Olsdatter had Olaf Eriksen in 31 Oct 1872 in Nordre Land, Oppland. And, records show Erik Olsen was born: 03 Feb 1855, Engereie, Ostinni, Nordre Land, Oppland. But, our family (today) doesn't seem to have any records of him making it to the United States. So, is there some death record ? And, I have tried to find emmigration with no luck thus far. Agnete and him never married it seems (baptismal of Olaf denotes they were not married). Agnete got married to another fellow later on... so... I'd appreciate any help. Joe.
