Ole T. (Skeie) and Anna Maline Eide (b. 1857) emigrated from Sand, Norway in 1882 and went to Illinois (probably LaSalle County, perhaps near the town of Ottawa), where they changed their names to Ole and Anna (Malinda) Eide. Two children were born in Norway: Jacobine Johanna b. 1876 and Thorbjorn (Thomas?) b. 1877, more children born in the US. Anna's mother Kristina Knutsdotter (Christina Knuteson) went with them. Any descendants? I have photos I would like to identify. Torbjorn (see above) married a woman named Nellie Nelson, who was descended from the Sloopers, who immigrated to the US in 1825, under the leadership of Cleng Peerson. Olav Veka
