A ships bell with the writing 'Dygden Fran Abo' AR 1840 on one side and 'Gjuten AF FR. Seipel Stockholm 1841'
carries the key to a family mystery. Can anyone help me find out more about the boat that carried this bell? The rumor is that the ship was captained by an ancestor and was also used in the civil war.
