finding Henry (Hendrick?) and Carrie (Kari?) Berg

Hi all, I am trying to trace our family lines back as far as I can. on my mothers side I have found records to indicate that her great grand parents came to america from norway in 1885, but the ellis island records appear to have been lost in the fire. all of my best information points to 1885 Henry (Hendrick?) Berg and I have records with 3 different spellings for Carrie Currie which i believe is a transcription error, Carrie, and Kari Berg [edit] Carrie's maiden name may have been Eriksdatter? I am not sure where to look from here and I am not even sure what information to provide to help people help me =). please let me know if there is any more information i can provide. i will do my best. just need a new direction to go in...I am stumped at the moment. I cannot verify the accuracy of this data Died: 1926 Blooming Prairie, North Dakota? Spouse: Carrie (Kari) Halvorsen? or Eriksdatter? Berg. I dont know for sure where the Halvorsen is coming from in the records I have found. Born: 25 Jul 1857 Hol Hallandal, Norway? Died: 1920 Blooming Prairie, North Dakota? Children: Inger, Hans, Helga, Clara, Olga, Caspera, Arthur, Tilly? resided in Rock, Mitchell County, Iowa? do not know of other locations but certainly others are possible. -jon
