How did my GGrandfather travel to Red Wing Minnesota from Northern Norway in the year 1865? Did he come through the Port of Quebec (film # 0889440 to 0889467 for the years 1865 to 1899) then did he travel overland to Chicago or did he continue via ship to Chicago - then overland from Chicago to the Mississippi river to Red Wing Mn. All I need is a ship passenger manifest for Mathias (Karjenaho) Abrahamson born December 2, 1835 in Pulkkila Finland - he immigrated to Vadso Norway where he worked for several years before coming to America in 1865.
