Grandfather Emil Jacobsen

My grandfather, Emil Jacobsen was born in Lillestrom, Norway, Feb lst, 1885 (possible spellings of last name are Jakobs, Jakobsen or Jakobson). He left from Oslo in August of 1906 to come to the United States (Minnesota) on the ship Montebello. I am not sure, but think this was a ship taking passengers to Hull, England, by train to Liverpool and then on another ship to the US. I have tried to track his voyage through Ellis Island records with no luck. He eventually went back to Norway in 1910 and came back to the US in 1913 with his wife, Dagny. I have the record from Ellis Island for that trip but don't have the information I need on his 1906 trip. Can you help me?
