Grandfather left Bergen

My paternal grandfather arrived in this country in July, 1856 from Bergen according to his Civil War enlistment papers. We have been unable to learn anything about parents and siblings. We think he may have come into this country by way of Canada. He used the name Louis Nelson though we think his given name was Lars Fusi Nelson. Does anyone have access to and the language fluency to search Digitalarkivet for him? Please reply to me via email. Thanks in advance for any help.
