grandfather of norway

i know he came by ship to New york and for the years he was unmarried i do not know where he lived, then he came to east machias, maine and meet my grandmother, married and moved to Danforth, maine. Born feb 20 , 1884, came he here in 1900 and never married until1926. He was a pulp wood cutter in the woods all the time. I am thinking i will never find my family fo Norway.
