Gregers Andersen Kure

I'm chasing a Gregers Andersen Kure (born 09.08.1840 at Kure in Rygge, Norway, died in 1920 in Detroit). Married to Mary (born in the United States). He emigrated to the United States and was the first merchant in Detroit for 20 years. He called himself George (Anderson). He is supposed to have founded his own bank, but I have not confirmed this. Does anyone have any information? Kind Reagards Ketil Johansen Rygge
