Gulbrand/Gudbrand Tomasson, born July 27, 1865

The guy I have mentioned, was born in Vang in Valdres in Oppland on July 27, 1865. His parents were Thomas Jøgersen and Marit Knutsdaughter. They lived at a place called Torstad. His confirmation took place on May 23, 1880, and the minister has written on the left side of his name that he left Norway in 1883. Via an emigrant protocol (Emigrants via Oslo/Christiania 1867-1930), Gulbrand Tomasson, 17 years old, left Oslo for Waupaca (in Wisconsin) on May 11, 1883. I am then wondering if it is possible to find more information about him! Anne in Oslo [;)]
