Hans Andreas Olsen (Halsrud)

I have found on the digital archive that Hans left to go to the U.S. in 1873, June 6th. Name used was Hans Andreas Olsen. But, the information said the boat when to Hull, then had other options for ships going from Liverpool to New York or Quebec. However, I cannot find any entry information for him or census data until 1910, Iowa, using Hans Halsrud. Any help would be appreciated for ship listing or entry information or earlier census data.
