I am trying to work out what my ancestors position was on the farms on Finnoy in Rogaland. I have several living there at the time of the priests' census in 1758. [https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/4504/1] Mostly my ancestors are in the first column but I cannot work out what the heading means exactly. First word translates as "farm" I think. Does the second word describe the position of the farmers in that column? At a guess I think that they are tenant farmers as 4rd column are "Huusmand" - crofters. Please could someone translate the heading for me and explain what it means. Thank you! Karen.
