Help with some words,please!

Could some one please help me with some translations?. I would like to know if there is anywhere where the titles are listed in English for the census. I am particularly interested in the headings YRKE(does this mean job or occupation?) and what about FODESTAD-does this mean place of birth. I also have another one-is this possibly a farm or parish--EKHOLDT KONERUDVERKET Any help would be muchly appreciated. Thanks Diane
