Hello, I am searching for any information about the island Guldbrandsø in Norway (Lofoten) and any information about Andrass Hanusson (my tiptiptipgrandfaher (1792-1839) He was living and worked at the islands Guldbrandsø (APROX. 1817-1827). His ship went down, he was rescued and all his descendens have the middelname Guldbrandsø, after the place he was rescued. I further know he was in June 1827, in the team with British Navy Officer William Parry and two teams of fourteen men to the Northpole. Their expedition lasted two months and they made it to latitude 82°75' North. ... All informations are welcome Best regards
