Ingvald Anker Bjorn

I am trying to find any information about a Norwegian seaman called Ingvald Anker Bjorn, who is my son-in-law's grandfather. I have found that he was a cook on the Oslofjord when she was sunk off the River Tyne, England in December 1940. He then worked as a cook in Newcastle upon Tyne until 1942. We know nothing else about him and would be pleased to know if anyone has any information about him or could suggest any possible sources of information. Thank you
