Inman Line Feeder Ships

I'm researching my great-grandfather. His Americanized name was John Newstrom (from Sweden)and he arrived in NY (Ellis Island)on April 1, 1893 onboard the S/S PARIS. I suspect he was travelling with a Per. O Newstrom (age 19). The voyage originated in Southampton. I'm trying to identify possible feeder ships and ports of origin, ticket agent, etc. Family tradition is that we're southern Swedes, possibly Malmo. Where do I start?
