Jacob Sophus Anderson (Rust) - em. 1893/1894?

This is another person that I have been searching for, it seems like «ages», and I know there are descendants of his in Norway who would so much like to know what happened to «grandpa»!? Jacob Sophus Anderson, the son av Anders Christenson (Kinserdal) from Hafslo (1826-1899) and Rebekka Andrea Jacobson from Lødingen in Nordland (1835-1875), was born in Lødingen Co., Nordland on July 25, 1866. The last we see of Jacob Sophus in Norway is this: An illegitimate son of his, Jakob Andreas, was born in Vågan Co., Nordland Nov. 14, 1893, home christened on Jan. 2, 1894, with confirmation of this christening on June 22 1894: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/5733/53 About the father it says he is a sailor in Hammarøy County, but «afreist til Amerika»! So he apparently «took off», either in 1893 or in 1894. I have not found a specific emigration record for him! But, when the son was married in Norway in 1919, it says about his father Jacob Sophus, that he was «kontormann, død i Amerika». So there must have been some contact, but today noone knows what happened to Jacob Sophus! One brother of Jacob Sophus emigrated in 1886. He was also a seaman and lived on the West coast. He first went by Ingemand RUST, but later, after he moved and remarried, canged his name to Christian Anderson. I have worked a lot on his biography hoping it might lead to Jacob Sophus, but without success: ~~~~~~~~~~ Ole Kristian Ingemann Andersen, kjend som Ingemand C. A. Rust, sidan som Christian I. Todd frå Manchester, Lancashire Co., England og f. i Liverpool, Lancashire Co., England 16.10.1867, men utvandra til Amerika i 1890. Ho gifte seg første gongen kring 1895 med John C. Johnson, ein finskrussisk matros («master mariner»), f. i Russland ?.4.1855 og utvandra til Amerika i 1871, men han miste livet i eit forlis nær San Francisco, Cal. 22.2.1901. Christian var fiskar og deleigar i ein fiskebåt og likeins i ein hermetikkfabrikk i Alaska («fisherman and fisherboat and cannery part owner») og siglde på vestkysten, men hadde den formelle bustaden sin i San Francisco, Cal. Han og Theresa vart skilde alt i 1905, og Theresa Rust flytte til San Mateo, San Mateo Co., Cal. der ho livnærte seg som syerske («dressmaker»), men ho d. i San Francisco, Cal. 20.10.1918. Christian hadde i 1910 opphaldet sitt i Orea, Cordova distrikt i Alaska, men gifte seg att i Los Angeles, Cal. 22.11.1912 med Beda Amanda, kjend som Amanda Eriksdotter frå Bräcke i Jämtlands län, Sverige, i Amerika kjend som Amanda Erickson. Ho var dotter av paktar Erik Olofsson i Örtjärnsdalen, Bräcke i Jämtlands län, Sverige, opphavleg frå Umeå i Västerbottens län, og kona Brita Juliana Andersdotter frå Bräcke og f. i Nyhem, Jämtlands län i Sverige 14.11.1878. Amanda utvandra til Amerika i 1893 og hadde ei tid livnært seg som kokke («cook») i Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., Cal. Christian heldt fram som fiskar og fiskebåteigar («fisherman and fisherboat owner»), og han og Amanda budde ei tid I Grays Harbor Co., Wash., men flytte kring 1918 til Friday Harbor, San Juan Co., Wash. der Christian d. 31.8.1935. Amanda Anderson livnærte seg sidan som butikkdame («cosmetic store sales lady») same staden, men d. i Spokane, Wash. 6.3.1952.
