JENS SAMUELSEN, B 1837 & KAREN TRULSDATTER, B 1833

hello all! i am hoping that someone might be able to help... i have seem to hit a wall, although in the past 2 years i have come quite far (with the help of others)- from knowing almost nothing to finding out the following: jens samuelsen, born 1837.03.12 in lærdal, sogn og fjordane -parents: samuel torchelsen (torkelsen) berget & anna roardatter (næset) -on line 68: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11598&idx_id=11598&uid=ny&idx_side=-23 karen trulsdatter, born 1833.12.24 in modum, buskerud -parents: truls guldbrandsen & barbro knudsdatter -on line 28: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1153&idx_id=1153&uid=ny&idx_side=-16 i think they were married in 1860. they are in the 1865 norwegian census (lines 5-9): http://digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/WebCens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=52&filnamn=f60301&gardpostnr=2328&personpostnr=52949&merk=52949#ovre one of their children, caroline, b 1870.08.31, is my gggrandmother, but i cannot find her birth record. i have found one for karoline kirstine, born 1865.08.31. -the birthdates are SO close (apart from the year), it makes me suspicious, but on her american death certificate, the year of birth is listed as 1870, not 1865. there is also another missing sibling- ragnhild, born 1871.06. i cannot find anything on her, apart from the emigrant list. lastly, this family emigrated to the USA on 1871.06.02 -http://digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=6&filnamn=EMIOSLO&gardpostnr=21143&personpostnr=21143#nedre they are now known in the USA as the BERG family. they emigrated to minnesota, and lived in holden and crookston, mn. jens, karen, caroline and anna moved to chicago, il in the late 1890's. if anyone has any information or can help, i would be most grateful. -parents of jens & karen- any further information? -ragnhild? -marriage info on jens & karen?
