Looking for information on John Christophersen, born Norway, fathered a child in Columbia County, WI in 1859. Records shows,
Born July 24, 1859; baptized August 22. Child, Christopher; Spring Prairie.
Parents, John Christophersen, bachelor; born Norway. and maiden Britha Aadsdatter. I have all the information on her, but father is still a mystery.
Britha was married in 1862 to Hans Hansen who adopted Christopher. What happened to John Christophersen?
Britha was actually Britha Knudsdatter as her father was Knud Aadsen of Voss.
